water in oil catch can??
i went to empty my oil catch can which is just a hose runnin off my valve cover breather into a catch can i made. one line in and a breather filter on top .. when i emptied it there was a drop of whitish foam at the fitting but the can was at least half full of pure water. and water dripped out the hose when i took it off the can too.. where is that coming from ? its not antifreeze it clear water.
condensation.
when the air enters the can its hot and contains water vapors. once it cools off the air cant hold the vapor and it turns into liquid water.
