Default warped block......

ok, the set up is an all motor ls/vtec. b16 p30 head, b18b block.

there is a leak where the oil literally runs out of the motor on the front passengers side corner where the block and head meet. the vtec solenoid gasket, cam seal, valve cover gasket, and all the components on the distributor side, including distributor gasket have been checked for leaks.

it's gone through 3 different head gaskets, 2 OEM, and 1 cometic high pressure xtreme head gasket. the head has been milled, so i'd ASSUME that would elimate any threat of it being the head thats warped.

i bought the block used, and am wondering if it was possibly warped....the only other conclusion i can come up with is the oil feed line on the head that was tapped and plugged professionally.....

just wondering if anyone else had any problems related to this, before i buy another block and do it all over. this is the first mileage the block has seen while in my possession...

someone also mentioned decking it, thats the same as milling is to the head right?

thanks in advance.....

Have you checked it with a straight edge?

buy a machinist straight edge and a good set of feeler gauges and pu the straight edge across the block at an 2angles making an x measure the warpage by fitting a feeler gauge under the straight-edge it should be no more than 0.08mm
