Walbro Fuel Pump install...
my stock fuel pump burnt out *(i think) and i will be changing it out with a Walbro 255. im not going to ask how... but is there an archived thread that might give an informative step by step... last thing i want is a fire under my back seat... thx much...
Make sure you release the fuel pressure first. Otherwise you will have a nice puddle of gas under your back seat. After the presssure is released, take off the fuel pump cover, remove the hoses and wires and remove the pump. Take note on the way it came out, because you don't want to expletive it up putting the assembly back in, or your gas gauge will be incorrect.
Edit: I hope you car is turbo. A Walboro 255 is overkill if you don't.

I dont think you need an external fuel pump. Get the walboro 255lph IN-Tank fuel pump. Goes where the old pump goes and you wont have that annoying sound of the pump.
