vx to gsr O2 sensor`
I have a vx hatchback and swapped out for a gsr. When i was going switch out the O2 sensor i noticed that my vx ran five wires and the gsr four. How do I know which wire splices into what. The gsr O2 has 2 white, 1 grey, and 1 black. The vx has orange, yellow, red, white, and black.
The vx is a hard one to wire. It also has 4 main connectors on the passanger side shock tower where as all other hondas have 3. You can use 3 out of the five wires from the stock plug and the 4th wire needs a injector ground pulse. Get it from one of the yellow/black stripe wires in the driverside firewall corner. I dont have exact colors as I know there are 2 different looms for the vx and maybe even 3.....Mike

The VX 5 wire is a UEGO sensor (wide band) because the car was designed to run lean for emissions. I wouldn't mess with trying to use it, the ECU in the VX has a controller built into it to properly scale the UEGO.
