Default VTEC wiring and Map sensor problems!?

I went to the dyno yesterday to see what kind of numbers I was running. Well i was running slightly lean up until vtec hit and extremly lean while in vtec. They upped to fuel press to 50PSI. Same thing happened. Previously I had been throwing a map sensor, knock sensor, and Eld code. They wired the knock sensor, good. Also the ground wire for the Vtec sole. was not grounded. They grounded that. Im guessing that I need to trouble shoot the map sensor. Also apon leaving the dyno my car would bog terribly taking off from stoplight unless I took off from 2500 or above. I had this problem once before so I unhooked the ground wire from the solenoid and no bogs, no crazy idle either. I have a 92 ls with 95 gsr swap w/ VAFC as tuning method. Any help would be great as to why a grounded vtec sole. wire would cause car to bog?? Ive heard or cars running rich with a bad Map Sensor but would it cause it to run lean??
