Default VTEC user - Gauge

What types of Gauge do you guys install on you B series engine (NA) ?


Is there any website explain how exactly to make use of the gauge, what does the number tells ?

Guages???

Depends on who you talk to.

I like the following
Oil pressure
Oil temp
EGT (exhaust gas temp)

What does Oil Temp reading tells u ? I mean how can we manipulate it ?

Tells you how hot your oil is.. if it gets high.. then your engine maybe be working too hard and be on the brink of failure...

If I was paying attention to the guages... maybe I wouldn't have blown up an engine in my friends car (he had no oil pressure warning light)

The Oil pressure was at 0 and the oil temp was in the high 200's (it was pegged)

I looked at the guages when the car sounded funny.. and refused to accelerate
