I have a 1991 CRX si with a B16a. I have a PW0 ECU, not chiped. Everything was good till 2 days ago, I was driving then I gave it gas hit 5000 But vtec didn't work, so I keept giving it gas then it redlined at around 7200 rpm, when it should be redlining at 8300. so now I don't have Vtec & redlines at 7200. Now when I drive the car it feels like a LS motor.

Can any1 help me?

Sounds like the ecu crapped out

 

Thats what me & the Guys at my shop think. We found a wire that had power that went to an old alarm system. It was tuching the fire wall. Thanks

that could be part of your problem...find a wiring diagram for the car and go through it...it will probably be a pain in the *** but could save you money
