VTEC SOUND!!!!!HELP

I have a H22 swaped integra and when vtec kicks in I hear this rattling sound coming from under the hood. It's a constant sound only when in vtec. Never had this problem before. Can anyone help..

take the valve cover off and look for unusal wear, get the valve specs and check the valve lash. check out the rocker arms.

What do you mean by "When VTEC kicks in,"?
VTEC is always in effect by the ECU.

You might want to read up more on how VTEC works. It is not "always in effect" in the ECU, that is why people call it a crossover. Also, there are mechanical changes to the valvetrain when this crossover occurs. I would do what Fezzie suggests first and then probably check the oil level, and if possible, pressure.
