i have a problem going into vtec. i have a 96 gsr with a chipped 93 gsr computer. when i go into vtec it like hesitates. like goes in and out of vtec. tried: swapped to known good ecu, swapping dist, swapping vtec solenoid. my motor is a semi built b20/vtec.

 

make sure your not low on oil and your getting enough fuel pressure

 

i've checked both

 

coolant temp sensor or wiring thats bad can cause this as well

you replaced the distributor did you set the timing correctly??

I would shitcan the chipped ECU and get it properly tuned.
