VTEC not working

Default VTEC not working

94 gsr w/ web cams crower springs&retainers. Car worked fine for about a month then vtec stopped working. Already checked wiring, solinoid, cam timing, vtec oil press. sensor,changed ecu. Vtec enguages when a 12v source is wired direct.

Any help on this PROBLEM is greatly appreciated!

first off...any CEL?

secondly, have you tried searching because over the past month...i have seen many threads "HELP>> my vtec doesn't work!!!"

Maybe you can find the answer from previous threads.....

Oil level adequate? VSS plugged in? Bad ground? Solenoid screen clean? Those are some of the area that is worth investigating.

Check the oil pressure sensor. That's what happen to mine last time Vtec not working. Hope this will help.

I've had VTEC not kick in when the oil was low. not enough oil the pressure cannot get high enought ot activate, well that is my theory at least. Check your oil..

Well he said it engages when a 12v is directly put to it, so im thinking its a faulty wire somewhere

So i was driving the car yesterday and the ignitor went out,I replaced it and now vtec works fine. I would imagine that it had something to do with the RPM signal from the distributor to the ecu Thanks for the help.
