Vtec is not engaging. yes another thread about vtec not working:(
The head I used to do the Mini me swap (D16z6 head) was sitting in the car for about 7 months without running, well my vtec worked in my car for about 2 months, then it started throwing code 21 vtec not working. Well i check all my wires and made sure they were plug in, what else could i do to check it? Someone said maybe that the soleniod can mabye become clogged and that needs to be taken out and cleaned, is that mabye a factor sence my car head was sitting unused for 7 months?

the solenoid filter may be clogged. you can use a ohm-meter to find out if it's the filter. i'm not sure about the limits. think it migth be something like 7-14Ohm. that's between one of the solenoid plug pins and earth.
Yes another thread where someone didnt search.
Like said before check your oil pressure and oil level.

did you take that little oil diffuser pin out of the top/middle of your block before putting the head on?
