Default Something wrong with VTEC?

ok, so i'm driving right, and this only did this once or twice, but all of a sudden my car felt like it was boosting right around 6k rpm. I don't know if all the other times my VTEC solenoid was stuck and this is my VTEC, but i was just wondering if anyone else has had this kind of thing happen to them before.

oh yeah - it's a d16z6.

i've driven my friends wrx which runs 12's...i know what boost feels like. but yeah it's just kinda weird becuase my car only does this sometimes and it feels awesome...i wish it did it all the time...i think my solenoid might be bad...i'll go check that...till next time "Represent the MidWest"
