Default vtec cutting out at 8k in 4th gear

Here's a video.
I checked oil and it was good.
I have another video where it does the same thing except at 8.5k instead.
This video was going uphill and the other was flat.

Anyone have any ideas?

What motor is in the car? Does it have a jdm ecu, those have speed limiters.

h22
its a usdm p06 I believe.
There's no speed limiter, its tuned on hondata s300.
It falls out of vtec and doesn't hit a limiter.

Do you have an oil pressure gauge? Maybe oil pressure is cutting out around them rpms somehow. Vtec is engaged by oil pressure just saying.

hmmmm but the vtec is fine through 3rd gear and it losses oil pressure in 4th gear for some reason?
I checked the oil and it was right to the top of the dipstick as well.
Motor does not burn any oil.
It was also driven for about 30+ minutes before this video.
I am however planning on getting an oil pressure gauge but don't have one right now.
