vtec controller problems
ok so ive had my vtec controller for a while now, and no problems. last night i went to change some settings, everythying was cool, and then turned off my car. when i went to turn it on again, everythign was re-set. and yes, i initialized it and everything too. any body know what the problem is?
I would guess that it isn't associated with the controller. After it was initialized did you set everything back...4cy...up down arrows...even tho I don't think that would stop the car from starting. good luck
no no, may car didnt turn off, the vtec controller re-set to vactory settigns, meaning all my fuel setting and all were lost. the car itself is fine
So all you settings where lost... when you intilize it...under
"ETC Modes" > "Initialize" it re-sets everything. If you didn't select that, then the control must have lost power somehow...battery, or lose power wire.

is that becuase of the damn OBDll thing? that it "detects" the changes made to your car and sets them back? try doing the OBDll workaound at http://www.ntpog.org
yah i understood everything wrong on the manual, i thought that when you hit initialize, it saved everything, but i was being a non reading ***. its fixed now. thanks for all the info fellas
