vtec controller problem

Default vtec controller problem

just installed a field vtec controller.. and now my car won't rev past 6500 rpm.... but once i turn off the controller it's fine.. any ideas?? i set the vtec at 5200.. that's the only thing i did to it..

well something is telling youre ecm not to engage vtec. this cuts out the rev limit at 6500 as well. if it works fine with out the controller. than it must be a wiring issue.

my friend said he had a simialr problem and that it was the vtm wire... so i'm guessing it's that ... i'll check tmw. and see what's up..

Check all of your soldering and wiring, SFC's cause a lot of problems.
