Im really having a problem....im running a b20vtec and my vtec doesnt seem to work. It cuts in and out and sometimes it will run for a whole night and then it will work for one gear......I have a OBD2 ECU and a VTEC controller. I checked through all the wiring and i even checked the VTEC conroller itself, Also i am not getting any check engine codes.....so what could be the problem?????????

 

well there mgood fellow b20 mang i too have this motor and lvoe it my best suggestion would be to check your oil, from there if that is not the problem. Then check to make sure you are seeing the proper volatages at each of your sensors check with a meter by backprobing the ssensor and refer to the oem guide for specs good luck!

 

I already checked all the Volts and sensors, they are all right...Could i possibly have to much oil or not enough.........Ive tried everything and im pretty much out of ideas!!!!!

 

yeah not haing enough oil will make your vtec cut in and out.

 

How many quarts should the B20 have??????????
