VT Villain or Katman. wiring question?

Just 2 simple questions..
On the "deepestaged" wiring site in the DPFI-VTEC section it states to remove these wires from the DX ECU connectors. Two are self-explanatory, but two others are not.
OK, the easy ones
Remove pin and wire from-A8- A/T lock-up sol. Use for VTEC sol. Makes sense.
remove pin and wire from - B2- tandem valve sol. Don't need it. Also makes sense.
Now the 2, I don't understand.
B5 - alternator signal. Why? Isn't it still need?
B19- ELD- the same ?, as above, isn't still needed?
Just wondering why, that's all.

I'm sorry, I'm not really skilled in the arts of converting a DPFi vehicle to MPFi.
I haven't quite been yearning to try it out either....but maybe soon I will. Once i find a decent EF wagovan to mess round with.

It's really not so much an mpfi question as it is a swappinig pins question.
In Si-VTEC swaps, why would you move the pin for the ELD out of B19?
And where do you move it to?
And doesn't the ecu still NEED an Alternator signal, as well, at pin B5?
