What do you want with that ****??? German crap! We have many f/i VR6 here in germany and it wrecks all the time. You're better w/ a B18C6 T3/T04e @ same hp.

what exactly breaks with them? trannys? the stock block can be good for solid 400whp if tuned properly.

personally i think its just too heavy for a honda(except for straight up drag, and then you might as well get a v8 and boost it)

why waste the time and money when you can get the same results for alot less money with a b18c5 and a turbo?

i guess it would be cool to say "yea...i've got a VW motor in my whip"

plus ull never fit in cuz the honda people will look down on u, and so will the vw people. but do it, it never ahs been done and hondas are features and that torq will move it pretty quick. i gota vr6 and i wouldn't do it to a honda. get a rabbit and just put a vr6 in that equal in difficulty but better results.

1. those are not Crap, its a very nice engine block with a bullet-proof bottom. I own a gen3 Golf VR6 b4..
2. Honda engine are torqueless..even with mods still torqueless..seriously, how many of you redline your car everyday? daily driven i rarely rev pass 4000 rpm.

Well, but then a VW block under the hood is umm.. i dont know a little strange

just cuz it's a six dont mean jack about torq. vw's tdi engine has a **** load more torq yall can handle.

raceing on the track requires way more skill then just dropin the clutch on hondas.

wow...

I wonder HOW this idea can EVER occuredb to you ?!?

Honestly, know nothing (and NEVER heard) of anything of that kind but what i can tell you for sure is that ALL VR6 VW's have VERY poor weight distribution (too heavy front).

So putting the VR6 engine into your Civic will be even worse then H22A swap!
You'll end up with too much of investments+welding\cutting+lower reliability then ANY Honda engine and MOREOVER - VERY POOR cornering...

What engine\chasis are you currently running?

Mad Tourque yo!

Thats is funny ****, more than y'all can handle huh?? How do you know how much tourque anyone can handle?

"So much tourque the chassis twists"

wow your an idiot, fourthchirpin. First of all, because its a 6 DOES mean its has torque. Unless you have a 4 litre 4 cyl and a 3 litre 6cyl, the more cyclinder's and discplacement is almost always going to have more low end torque. Fourthchirpin? what kinda gay name is that. Why would you brag even if your car did chirp in forth, all that means is you have a strong clutch and a lot of rotational mass.

Well.. 30kg/m + of torque at 2800 rpm?? and flat line till 3600? (i think?)

I think NSXs are about same torque numbers but its somewhere around 6k rpm..

anyways, i would think its interesting to see it happen, bu like someone said, i wouldnt invest those $ to make it happen

WOW 100hp and 177 lb is that all. and that's from a Diesel 1.8L TURBOCHARGED engine you can make more hp & tq from a 1.5L with 8 psi on pump gas and stock internals.

2003 1.9 TDI - 90 horsepower and 155 lb. ft. of torque.
2004 1.9 TDI PD - 100 horsepower and 177 lb. ft. of torque, improvements of 11% and 14% respectively.
2004 2.0 litre base gasoline engine -122 lb. ft. of torque
2004 1.8 litre turbo gas engine - 173 lb. ft. of torque.

You have the **** diesel engines, we in germany have the 1.9 TDI PD with stock 150hp and 310 lb. ft. A friend of me has this engine and he tuned it up to 210hp and 420 ft. lb. But the problem is that what you still said, the VR6 engine is to heavy for the Honda. And there is still another problem: this engine is @ low rpm's too slow.

Actually, when it comes to torque, the H22A does not give up much to the VR6. The K24 gives up even less.
