I'm going to show this in my auto tech class. Will hopefully settle the argument that cam phasing and VTEC are different. Do the new i-VTEC engines also use cam phasing?

I actually thought the cam moved. Not sure how but I honestly thought it did.

Yes, the "i" in i-VTEC refers to "intellegent", or the fact that it can rotate the intake cam to achieve optimum power, emissions, fuel economy, etc. 3 lobe vtec like in the video changes both lift and duration of both valves, which by definition changes cam phase. There's like 5 different types of vtec...
