Default Valve stem seals

What is the best way to remove these? Is there a tool that I need to get to install and remove them? If so where can I get one.

I wish I had the cash to get a slide hammer one but currently its out of my budget.
I found these on ebay and would like a few opinions before I chose.

I have tried using pliers and have had no luck. If anyone can show me some insite on how to get them out with pliers that would be great.

those were a bitch for me to remove. What I ended up doing was using a needle nose along with a hammer and screwdriver the stuborn ones. Once you get them unclipped from the bottom they're pretty easy to come off

Well I got them out with some pliers. Might I say this is a bitch to do. Now what is the best way to put the new ones in? Do they just slide or do they have to get hammered on?
