You might want to check out ValveMaster. I've used one on D series several times and it works damn quick. Here's a link to a video of it in action:

i just took it to my local machine shop and payed 15 bucks...
my homie says he recommends every honda builder to have one of theese.

i do not recomend the valve master hammer/magnet type tool. with stiffer/high performance valve springs ive seen that tool rip the ends off of valves. installing the keepers is a massive mother fvcker using that tool as well. i perfer the C clamp type tool, that clamps to the face of the valve and the retainer...especally for stiff springs
The C-Clamp style compressor is great if you're working with the head on a bench.
The Blue-Point kit is great, pretty universal, and if you need something that will allow you to work both on the bench or on the car, this is your best bet.
