I've used this on my B and it works pretty good. Says it works with h22's.

2nd'ed. I used one similar to the one in the op to remove my springs, then bought and used the Eurosxport tool to install them. So much better. I couldn't have imagined how awful trying to install those keepers would be with the style of compressor you posted initially.

You might want to check out ValveMaster. I've used one on D series several times and it works damn quick. Here's a link to a video of it in action:

Found a video I actually made when I used it on my D head:

If you're referring to the euroexport tool a few of us posted, they make ones for pretty much every motor. Click the link I provided and try looking yourself

i do not recomend the valve master hammer/magnet type tool. with stiffer/high performance valve springs ive seen that tool rip the ends off of valves. installing the keepers is a massive mother fvcker using that tool as well. i perfer the C clamp type tool, that clamps to the face of the valve and the retainer...especally for stiff springs

The C-Clamp style compressor is great if you're working with the head on a bench.

The Blue-Point kit is great, pretty universal, and if you need something that will allow you to work both on the bench or on the car, this is your best bet.
