valve lapping
after searching and coming up with only 4 threads on valve lapping in the archive i would like someone here who actually does honda heads for a living to explain the correct process for sealing a valve to the valve seat properly...
get a valve lapping tool. and some dual grit sompund.
follow instructions on the back. basically put the heavier grit on, lap it some, and finish up with lighter grit.
really easy.

I liked the stuff I got at AutoZone. It had a grit that broke down as the valve was lapped in. So it started out super coarse and broke down into polish by the time the valve was finished. No need for multiple grits.

Yup, it's permatex. The only issue with it is that for moderate lapping, you have to keep aplying it because it breaks down into polish before you've lapped enough to get a good seal.
