valve adjustments
Does the tool really make the job THAT much easier than using a 10mm wrech and a flat head screwdriver....always seems to work for me?
First time I got mine ajdusted at the local Acura dealership. Cost 1 hour labour + tax ~80$ cdn.
Second time I found a Snap On truck parked in a parking lot for his lunch break. Walked over and asked if he minded selling me a tool while on his lunch break. So I ordered the part and picked it up a few days later. Cost ~70S cdn.
I've used it 4-5 times already, paid for itself a long time ago! BTW my B17A and D16 (90 Si) both use 10mm socket, where as the ZC 12mm. So find out what you need before you buy it.

I can only assume the screwdriver comment was for me. Yeah, I know....I'm actually kinda cracking up at the thought.
I have a 99 Cx [D16Y7] and when I do my valves, I just use a 10mm and screwdriver...along with the appropriate feeler gauges to check clearances. The screwdriver was for ADJUSTING the clearances.

learn how to do it yourself! the dealerships only let the engine
cool about 45 minutes and then adjust them. This can make
for non-ideal setup. When I do mine, I let the car sit overnight
and then do it before I go to work. I do them about every
5000 miles since I am on larger cams and run the car hard.
10mm socket with extension and old school ratchet, flat
head and feelers. Remove plugs... 1,3,4,2... check em...
