Default Valve Adjustment Tools

Where can i find them cheap without going to to dealer? Does sears carry them in stock? if so what is it called? I already have the feeler gauges.

Do I HAVE to use the specialty tool? or can i just use regular tools? Please help asap!

Thanks

You not gonna find the special tool for cheap. I bent a 10 mm wrench and use it insted. Check out this link. It shows how to make the homemade tool to do the job. Hit it with a torch to bend it.

Stick the wrench in a vice, then put a thin bar on the end (like the bar from a car jack) and pull it until it bends. You may want to warm it up on a burner first just so it doesn’t break..
