Default vafc2 help

I recently installed my vafc2 in my b16 EJ1. When the swap was done the ecu was chipped with a mugen program. The vtec is set a 4800 rpm. Which is way too low. So i want to set the vtec x-over at 5500 with the vafc. Now i understand that if you change the vtec x-over you need to change the vtec unmatch on the vafc. But since i am setting the vtec x-over higher than what the ecu is set for do i still need to change the vtec unmatch? Wouldn't the computer be sending enough fuel considering that it thinks the vtec x-over is 4800 and the vafc has the vtec x-over at 5500.
