hey guys im new to the fourms so this might be a stupid queston but any way ill ask. i have a vafc2 in a 2000 civic si i hooked it all up acording to the book that comes with it and i think im doing the frist time setup right but when i turn the car on the idle is rough and it just dosent sound right if you guys know whats gon on please let me know becuse its dirveing me crazy ive tripple check my wires and everything looks ok...

have you gone through the settings and made sure it was setup for a 4 cyl..etc?

yes i set it for 4cy the arrow upwards and the v/t 1, and i have the sensor set to 6 in 6 out , the only thing im not sure of is the holding down of the gas for ten 10 sec when are you sapota do that it did it when i first turned on the key to acc... also will the vafc run my engine to stock setting right out of the box so i can drive my car to get tuned or do i have to set it becuse it kinda sounds like there is a miss or its dumpng to much fuel into the motor but i dont want to mess with the settings...

You are sure that each wire is connected to the right pins? Did you solder and heat shrink the wires?

The vafc wont do anything to the car with just installing it. As long as vtec is set at the stock crossover, nothing will be changed until its tuned or you mess with the fuel settings.

i didnt mess with any of the settings and i followed the book on how to set it up do you have a diagram on witch wires go where so i can compare it to the apexi diagram and i sodered and srink wraped all the wires
