Default VAFC1 or Fields vtec sfc controller?

hopefully I can get some quick response...but as the title says

which is better you think?

fields or vafc1?

Both perform similar functions and use essentially the same method to do so. There have been reports of reliability issues with the Field, but the bottom line is that a chipped ECU paired with tuning software such as Crome or Uberdata is a far more effective tuning tool than either of these units.
