Default vafc or safc

i'm considering buying either one, my question is should i buy the vafc just for vtec engagemnt? am i going to be able gain that much controlling the vtec engagment? i will be dyno tuning it so is it worth the extra money (both are used the vafc is about 50-75 bucks more)

Go with the vafc since your going to the dyno.If you have other mods like cams it will be beneficial (sp).

i also read that the vafc has twice as many fuel points as the safc due to the hi/lo cam settings. is this true?

lol...when i saw your name in the last post by block i kinda expected something like that. it looks like i might be gettin yours because no one has given any good reason why the vafc is better. we'll see though....

Get the vafc. no point of doing it half way.

why is it doing it half way, is there more fuel control offered on the vafc? so far the only advantage is controlling vtec engagement. i am wondering what kind of gains am i going to get by lowering the engagement a few 100 rpms.

so far the only hint of a difference that i've found is the "twice as many fuel points due to the hi and lo cam lobes" but no one has been able to confirm this. i'm not sure which way i'm going yet. i've got about 300-350 to play with this paycheck so the safc will buy me more dyno time, but if the vafc has more fuel points i'll probably buy it.
