They are mainly the same, only the V-AFC II can tune K series motors, and also the V-AFC II can also change A/F ratios in 200 RPM incriments where as the V-AFC can tune in 500 RPM incriments I believe.

The display also looks fancier on the VAFC-II... Oh well, I'm happy with my regular VAFC.

Yeah, V-AFC II looks prettier

Standard V-AFC is tight though heh.

one good thing is that alot of people will want to upgrade so the original will be for sale. I've already seen alot of VAFCs for sale on HT.

it also allows you to save two maps, so you can switch back and forth.

the vafc 2 not only works with i-vtec but it also has new fuel map function 12 point, old 8 point. 4 functions monitored at once, battery dead save feature, password protection for morons that sit in your car and start to mess with things.

i know it is smaller 2

so is it worth the 100 bucks extra? No doubt for the 20 some people charge but 225 shipped fpr the origaanl new in box is a good deal.

That's a good deal but the II is so much better for tuning that I think it's worth the money because tuning is very important.

with my VAFC I had problems tunnign the fuel, I was told that OBDII is to restrictive so I have to to a OBD1 conversion, I make the changes on the VAFC but the A/F ratio does not change on the Dyno.

Is the VAFCII better now, ?

my VAFC is doin perfectly fine. I don't need the VAFCII.

But the saving 2 maps option is pretty cool. 1 map for full power, and another one for smog checks.
