Default vafc ergent help needed

some one please help me im goign insane i have a gsr in my 92 hatchback with a vafc well the promblem is when im accelrating in 1&2 gear i can go to 8000rpm no problem but when i go to 3&4 gear it cuts out at 7000 rpm i don't know what wrong can some one please help me

my settings are the stock computer settings for a gsr im doing about 60 when i shift in to third and its cutting out at about like 70-80

you need to describe the cut-out. like jerking, or loss of power, or like when the rev limiter hits. be specific as far as noises and how the car is acting. i dont think its your vafc bro. it could be incorrect wiring for the vafc, but not cause of the vafc stock settings.

I dont know if it helps with your situation but if you reach any certain rmp and it jerks but stays at those rpms whith continuous throttle that means your settings are far too rich. Are you boosting or na? My guess would be that you are running too rich. Do you have stock injectors and what are your current settings? I had a similar problem.
