Default VAFC 2 owners please help

I just returned from getting a smog check and im running too rich on my chipped p72. I ordered a VAFC 2 to try to lean the mix out because i dont have a stock ecu. The smog tests were held at around 2000 rpm +\- 200 rpm and 2500 rpm +\- 200 rpm for about 45 seconds each. I was reading the online manual for the vafc and was a little confused. Can i adjust fuel under 3000 rpms? since the tests are tried under normal drivng conditions with throttle probably like at 10% would i change fuel through the Wide thr, the Narr. Thr or the NE-p:lvt? Thanks

I too am running a VAFC-II. It is adjustable starting at 1000rpms. You wouldn't need to adjust the HVT setting for normal driving conditions. HVT would be the settings used after v-tec engagement. To get started you'll probably want to set your throttle to 50/50. Up to 50% throttle you use the Narrow throttle settings. Above 50% you will switch over to the Wide throttle settings. Both wide and narrow have LVT and HVT settings (no-vtec/vtec) you'll want to adjust your narrow throttle setting's LVT portion to negative numbers (depending on how much air you need to add) starting at 1000rpms and increasing toward 0 as you approach vtec engagement. If you plan on hitting v-tec during the emissions test, then adjust the HVT settings of the Narrow throttle portion. You'll have to play with it a bit as I did and MAKE SURE YOU FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS EXACTLY when first setting up the VAFC-II. You can damage your ECU if you are not careful. Hope this helps. Let me know if it doesn't and I'll try to break it down better.
