Default v-tech not engaging

my v tech is not engaging. not sure if its the untune s2s3 cams and aem cam gears that i have. are there also other possiblilties such as timing and v-tec solonoid not fuctioning right?

I hate it when my phone doesn't engage. It's VTEC, bro. V-Tech makes electronics.

As far as I know, the cams won't make your VTEC stop working.
