Default V-AFC wiring problem

I have a JDM SiR II B16 in my 93 dx hatch.
I have everything wired up for the v-afc correctly(been over many times).
Except The "VTM" wire (whatever the hell that is)......According
to the Apexi wiring diagram the VTM wire is where the Vtec oil pressure
switch is. I have the Oil pressure wire (D6) wired correctly b/c it ran fine
with no CEL's before the v-afc install. THe apexi manual shows the vtec
oil pressure at D17.

Now, I spliced the VTM wire into the oil pressure wire and left one end of the
oil pressure wire un-connected. Should I just solder the VTM wire directly into
the oil pressure wire?

It bogs like crazy when vtec hits, and hardly wants to pull to redline with no check engine light. Now here's the funny part. When it throws a cel, it pulls hard again and feels fine (but has the check engine light)......WTF!!!!

How should I wire the VTM wire and oil pressure switch????? Somebody here
must know. Please help.

I know it's confusing but try to follow, please.

if it's JDM, then it probably doesn't have a VTM. just leave that wire out and see how it runs.

for the 00 si, the diagrams should fit anyway, and yes they will have a VTM.

It's a JDM motor, but I have the USDM harness. I tried leaving the VTM disconnected before but all that did was throw codes.

If the ecu is US, chances are it uses it. The VTM wire has to be wired into the ecu side not the sensor side. The sensor could give a ****. The ecu is concerned with the wire. Disconnect the vtm (car side) wire from the ecu and put the vtm (vafc) wire in its place, to the ecu.
