V-AFC For real or not?
Can someone out there give me the honest truth about this? What do I gain by installing one. Is it really worth the $$$ or more talk then performance. Help me please on the fence about getting.

you could gain a bit more power if you installed some better cams like GSR or ITR/CTR cams and getting it dyno tuned
otherwise it is a pointless modification

i put my vafc few days ago, i have type r cams and b4 my vtec was set at 5200 and i was too lean then i was loosing power, i put it at 5800 and it changed a lot,
i also installed a air fuel gauge and a FPR, i think like this you can properly tune your engine, i won power..........now i can really feel the VTEC
but the dyno is the only way to get your engine tuned perfectly...

I think the main purpose of a VAFC is to help you tune your motor, so don't expect it to deliver the same gains as cams, intakes, exhausts, engine mods, etc., the effects of which are pretty much readily noticeable. What it WILL do is help you get the most from all of these. Yeah, it doesn't come cheap.
