Default Using a cable tranny on a hydro car?

So my hydro LS tranny is making horrendus noises and i drained fluid and it was gray, so im assuming the worst here and trying to shop for a better tranny

my friend has a YS1 tranny, which i believe is from the 92-93 GSR's but the clutch is cable...

i know if u have a cable car, u can buy a cable to hydro conversion kit...but is it even worth it for me to do it the other way around?

how would I even go about doing that

if you have a hydro car then you can either get the conv. kit or.......put a 88-91 civ or maybe 2nd gen 'teg clutch pedal assy and drill the hole in the firewall for the clutch cable to go through. then you have a cable clutch car. remember that the mount is also different so that it where the pedal swap gets tricky. as for being worth it?? How much for the gsr trans? Does the conv. kit and the cable b16a trans cost less than the hydro trans? That would be the determining factor from me.

cable trans are becoming harder to find, I'd reccomend staying hydro, I don't know if you'd get your investment back on the hasport conversion.

I'm currently using the HAsport converesion and have been driving on it for about a year. Besides my factory slave cylinder going out and having to replace that, I haven't had any problems. I love it!
