used intercooler how to clean the inside?

I just got a intercooler shipped to me and it's a mess internally, just dirty. Should I flush it with some gas, will that clean it?

toulene. you can get it from the paint section of Home Depot

Brake cleaner, can find it at Autozone, Advance Auto, Pep Boys, etc
