i have been reading all the threads on smogging my car at the ref here in cali. and i have everything hooked up correctly but i was searching other threads and they say i need a usdm ecu.
my question is i have a jdm p30 how would they know that its not a usdm p30 from a del sol vtec?

and how can they tell the year of a jdm motor (besides the head stamp). will a bill of sale that says the year work?
