It matters which one you have the spec.s for.Crower has all their cam cards online if you don't have the spec.s.

Additional info on the boys behalf;

The cam specs for Crowers new D16Z6 turbo cam are not listed in their Cam Spec section of the web site.

63441ZT

Cam card for intake says 13deg BTDC at .050 lift but does not tell you which rocker - primary/secondary

In actuality the reading comes in at 22deg ATDC on the #1 primary intake retainer. Cam installed with #1 piston TDC and the keyway straight up, lobesdown. We are using the Edelbrock Cam gear which does not have the D16Z6 timing marks.

We pulled the rocker assembly off and degree'd off the mid lobe (VTec) and the numbers came in bang on at 13deg BTDC

Found out measurements are taken at the retainer with the rocker locked up and operating off the VTec lobe.

Anyone have a secret here on how to lock the SOHC rockers besides the compressed air route.

Or if using the compressed air route some do's and don'ts.
