I belive my engine mounts are blown out so im looking for a SLIGHT upgrade to stock mounts.
I have a set of hasport but I didn't know they come in different stiffness so I have no idea what I got.
when I take off from a light the engine rocks during clutch engagement and makes it look like I cant drive for ****. so it bounces. I have stg1 exedy clutch also.
I know theres the urethane inserts but they still need good oem mounts to put them in.
how soft are the hasport street mounts or is there another option?

No i have hasport black on another car and its too stiff for daily
This one has stock mounts and it rocks bad during clutch engagement.
Its 4 door gsr with boltons and stg 1 clutch

you probably dont have the 62a urethane in your mounts and thats why its stiff for daily driving
you could just upgrade the rear mount to a Hasport mount on the GSR and that would help with the rocking

I had one but it was actually worse. it would rock even worse. and vibrate the dash.
I swapped for stock one and it was god for a while. I think all of them are just soft.
what are the grades of your mounts if you you would put it in numbers from 1-10 where stock mounts being 1 softness and your hardest one 10.

we have 4 grades of urethane
62a street
70a race
88a extreme race
94a most extreme race
the 62a is good for street driving
the 70a is good for circuit racing
the 88a and 94a is good for drag racing
now with that being said there are people who choose to run the higher durometer urethane on the street and such

if you take out the pin and the 2 pieces that will tell you for sure
62a you can press in with your finger
70a is more difficult to do so
88a and 94a you cannot push in with your finger

hasport fail wtf.. thanks for wasting my time and money...
because really everyone has a press in their garage to press out the ****** pin and 2 pieces.
you spend time etching your damn name on the mount how ****** hard is it to etch the hardness on the OUTSIDE OF THE MOUNT.
because what you do makes a lot of sense. lets mark the insets on the inside and press it in so its real easy for customers to see which mount they have...
really how ****** hard is it to put a damn number on the outside...
im the second guy that bought these brand new hasport mounts to find out they are not the street version. which the first guy also didn't know...

i understand the frustration of not knowing the durometer unless you take out the urethane

Yes please put numbers on the outside where people can see them
Guy got them as a gift. Didnt like them turns out theres a good reason because hes got the race version
Now i have aluminum mounts on a car with gold trim and gold mounts that shake the **** out of everything on a car with polished aluminum engine bay.
U been making them for long enough i dont understand why u would mark them on the inside where nobody can see it.
Wheres the logic?

Second needed more bolts and they gave a good number on size to get from the hardware store.

ure failing also. how is your experience related to the fact that theres no identification marks on any of the mounts that they make..
its frustrating when I have to go through this crap almost every week buying parts that don't fit or don't work or have a wrong picture posted on the webpage.
and then I have to call and argue with customer service just to get what I ordered in the first place...
and yes I can write up plenty of examples where my time was wased by company or seller messing up and not knowing wtf is goin on with their own products or webpage...
it adds up to a lot of time spent dealing with this crap
some people write it off as " experience" I call it wasted time and money. because at the end of the day im the one that's stuck with a useless product that I paid money for
