Has anyone else here heard of this? Benen offers them; there's one other company whose name I cannot remember that has them. The claim is that you'll get a few extra horses, less noise in your audio sytem, brighter headlights, etc.

If there is any good science behind this, is there any reason I couldn't get the same effect for less by buying decent quality 4-8 AWG wire and replacing the grounds myself? TIA

it will look nicer. i dont know what yours look like but mine after 10 years are lookin kinda sad. ive heard it does help when you've got a stereo. it cant hurt. ive heard its a good idea to upgrade the wire from the alt to the battery too.
