Upgrade to Hyperground wires?
No. A capacitor placed inline with the setup is not a contributor to better spark plug firing or anything else. And I don't trust Import Tuner's dyno methods at all, they release very little specific information about testing procedures. Take Nology wires for instance (exact same principle), they were popping up all over the magazines and showing good gains. Why? Because they recommended using only BERU silver tipped spark plugs (as though that makes any difference either) with their wires. So the magazine boys through the brand new wires and plugs in, and viola, a bit more power. Hint: do the same thing but with stock replacements on any motor. The same thing will occur. Brand new spark plugs always seem to slightly elevate dyno numbers.
waste of money...
i cant wait till the stunnas start wandering in seeing threads like this and saying
"i have them in my civic it made a huge diffrence"

are you talking about the grounding kits.... for the block and tranny and stuff.... they dont make a difference.... i got the HKS ones..... i had to get them.... after my fourth engine swap.... my stock grounds and power cables were looking all bent and chewed up...... paid 150 bucks...... they look real nice...... but its a different system.... the one they have on import tuner are the ones from SunPro... and those are linked up at the end of each point.... like a conect-the-dots...... the HKS ones are thicker and run directly to each ground and power point..... ill try to have a pic in another thread soon..... to drunk...
I own them
and I can definately say that it starts easier, and revs smoother
but actual whp gain I don't know
It took only 1 hour to install

you can run a car, same mods, same settings, 2-3 times within an hour and get up to 5 hp change. depends on too many factors. they sure are pretty, though.
for only $100. not only a slight increase in horse power, increased throttle response, better gas miliage (12% better), starting better, and when you turn your CD player way up, the face will not blink, your headlights do not get brighter when you rev you engine. i think its worth it.
well according to dynos those wires only give benefit to cars with more than just basic bolt-ons such as turbo....12hp gain on one car...it was turbo....hey if you have 150 bucks to spend give it a shot....they cant hurt
not even $150 go to http://www.sunautomobile.com/ my 91 integra will beat all of u ...i am gods gift to acura..suck my *****
suck my *****

Certain cars have more benefits than others. It WILL always help your car start and rev smoother but the power gains are not why you would want to buy this.
Take for example a Civic compared to a 93 RX-7. The Civic (who cares what year) has a great stock ground system that holds up for years, and if replaced doesn't need to be upgraded. By adding bigger wires and more ground points it will start smoother but you will probably gain 1 whp tops.
A 93 RX-7 on the other hand had a decent ground system but it wore quickly over time. By replacing the ground system on this car, you will see a smoother start (hard to notice on rotary though) but you will also see some horsepower recovered. The reason I say it that way is it is like a tune-up, you aren't gaining any power over stock, but restoring it through maintenance. And just for the people who need numbers, I've seen about 10 whp restored on the RX-7 just with this slightly uncommen maintenance job.
Hope this helps! I'd recommend buying some 8 or 4 ga wire and just making your own grounds, probably cheaper!
