Default underdrive pulley?

i heard that underdrive pullys aluminum ones were a bad choice for a honda because they do not soke up vibration like the stock pully and can cause barren damage? is this true looking for some opinoins? thx
ls/vtec type r oil water, je 11.5 pistions, ctr jdm head.......

It's true that they do not have a harmonic damper, however whether it will do any damage or not is heavily dependent upon your engine. There are a number of really good posts about this that can explain it much better than I can. If you search the archives you should be able to find them.

You also have to remember that the CTR N1 crank pulley doesn't have a harmonic damper either, and it's OEM Honda.
