Default Unbaffled valve cover? Is it useless?

I recently took my valve cover to a shop to weld on some an-10 bungs for a catch can. When I got home, I noticed they didn't reinstall the baffling for the valve cover. Is this ok to run, or do I need to have the baffling reinstalled?

I’m surprised that they took it out, I’m not sure how to answer your question........ maybe someone else can chime in

Take it back and have them weld it back in. If not, maybe you can drill and tap a few holes where the welded points were and screw the plate on. Leaving it open and un-baffled will cause excessive amounts of oil getting to the catch can.
