Type S Flywheel(Pic Inside)
I'm going to be purchasing a Type S Flywheel from a member on ClubRSX. He sent the picture to me of it....The picture looks fine to me, but I wanted to get a second opinion on the picture.
I'm picking this up for $52.95 shipped.....What do you think?

On the bottom of the picture there is a glare from the flash. So I asked about whats underneath it, and he said its just a little dirty. Its not a "hotspot" is it?

it dosent look bad from the picture. but you would probly wont to feel it with your hand and even mick it up to see if its not just scored up on different surfaces(so you know its not gonna wobble a tad). you could just sand it down if you wanted or bring it to get resurfaced.... thats if it needs it
Run it! I wouldn't bother to resurface it. A resurfaced flywheel is no advantage if the flywheel is already flat and not overheated or grooved. Many machine shops do more harm than good and then many they don't even balance them after resurfacing. Looking at the photo, this flywheel looks basically perfect. On the other hand, you could buy ours instead...
Dude run it, but dont even bother getting it resurfaced. Just scuff it up real good with some sand paper.
get some fairly gritty stuff and just make sure u scuff up the whole thing. Getting it resurfaced is going to be a waste and by that time u pay for the wheel and the resurfacing your prolly close to what an aftermarket would cost.
(not sure if the k's are as cheap as the b's or not though)
good luck with it, u could always have Denis or someone look at it but it looks fine dont bother taking it anywhere just needs a scuff job.

BTW hot spots wont be shiny like the glare, hotspots are those little brownish looking marks on the flywheel.
They arent a big deal, there are just a few tiny ones on there, whenever i did my clutch they were all over it. (comes from slipping it hard, or i guess if the clutch is wearing and it slips going into 2nd gear)
Those will come right off with some sand paper. Just sand it smooth and scuff it up evenly.

Well since posting pictures and getting second opinions.....Someone went and stole my sale! They figured since I'm posting pictures about this and questioning it.....I'm not buying it! NO you ****! I was sending payment. The person that bought it sent payment before me........
