Default Follow up, a thanks...and a new question

Ok, yall have helped me out with a problem that I had with no spark on my 98 Integra LS thanks for that it runs great except for this other problem. By the way the no spark issue was solved by replacing the ECU, ICM, Spark plug wires and coil. This new problem was existing before the no spark issue and I want to fix it. I am getting a fluctuattion in my idle. When I fire up the car it revs up to 1500 rpms and stays there for awhile even after the engine is warmed up. Then the engine will drop really low on the RPM's almost dying. Any thought on some things I can check on the car?

Check these things, then tell us what you have found

The Fast Idle Thermo Valve
The Idle Air Control Valve
The Idle Adjustment Screw (on the Throttle Body)

DO a quick search to tell the simple ways to test each of these things

If all of those check out to be perfect, check your distributor timing and cam timing (probably not those, though)

Here is what I found, I adjusted the idle screw and I was still having the same problem with the idle remaining high long after the engine has warmed up. I took the plate off the idle control valve and there was nothing there. It is the passge the water travels through to heat up the valve. I do not have a fast idle control valve on my car (unless I am wrong) since my car has a manual transmisson. Any thoughts?

the FITV should be underneath your throttlebody I think. Check if you have coolant bubbles, you can crack open the relief nut on the thermostat housing. Check for vacuum leaks too on the intake manifold.
