Default type R vs GSR suspension

I know the rear lca on the Type R are different, is anything else different between the type R and a regular GSR?

Also what is the advantage of the Type R lca? I was thinking of upgrading my rear lca to type R when i get my Tein's. i did a little search but didnt really find anything.

Any info would help, thanks.

The stock Type R suspension uses shocks with a higher damping rate and slightly stiffer springs than the stock GSR. The Type R LCA's also change the rear suspension geometry slightly and non-Type R shocks are not compatible. If upgrading to the Type R LCA's, then you will also need to upgrade to at least a stock Type R suspension and any further shock/spring upgrades should also be for a Type R.
