Default Two quick easy questions...

Does anyone know what gauge wires honda uses throughout the engine harness? i need to lengthen my o2 sensor so i wanted to use the same gauge wire.

and the other question is: what is the normal temperature thermostat im supposed to use? i have a 180 degree one that looks like it will fit. would this be ok?

I suppose they would use different gagues on different circuits. Depends on the load.

180 is on the cold side but lots of people use that. I think stock is more like 89 C or 192 F.

8 is huge compared to most of the wires in the harness that I've seen. it's closer to 16 or 18 just eyeing it up.

someone told me it was 22. anyway, im extending it because im doing a swap and my o2 will now sit at the end of the header whereas now (vx model) it sits up near the cylinder head because of where my cat is placed.

ur going to run a vx ecu on a swap? if not then you cant use the 5wire vx sensor and you need to get a 4wire and new ecu. PS. it doesnt really matter the guage as long as you get something close, i think i use like 16 or something maybe 18, but if its a little bigger WHO CARES.
