Default turning motor by hand...

This might seem like a dumb question but I want to be sure. I just pulled my motor tonight to change the timing belt, water pump and throw in a new clutch disc. What just occurred to me is that there is no oil in the motor and I'll be cranking it by hand to set the motor to tdc. Is this bad for the bearings considering there is no oil in the motor?

i think it will be alright if you dont spin it too much..

If you think about it.. how much oil can the oil pump pump when turning by hand.

youll be fine as long as you dont hook an impact gun to it if your using a wrench you cant spin fast enough to cause a prob but if your spinning with timing belt off you can run into your valves try and avoid that
