turning FPR's down..

i was wondering, if i dont pass my smog test tomorrow, i know it would be because of my fuel flow-- my B18a runs really rich.... so if i bought an aftermarket FPR, would i be able to turn the fuel pressure down below the stock FPR pressure? if so, would any aftermarket FPR be adjustable like this? and if the FPR isnt why my engine is running so rich, then how else could i turn the fuel flow into the cylinders down?? thanks
actually I knew someone who failed the "visual" part of the test because of his b&m fpr, i painted mine black to conceal it a little better.

yes you can turn it below stock pressures......i was just saying to get a fuel gauge so that you know where you are putting the fuel pressure at........you cant just buy a FRP and mess around with the pressure w/out being able to see wat changes you are making.

what about the weaponR FPR's.... they already have the pressure guage on the side of them, but would the weaponR's be adjustable too? heres a picture of them....

i wouldnt lean it too much for too long tho or you could burn up a valve. as for the map sensor ive seen some problems with cars running rich because of that sensor giving a false reading. also O2 sensors could be at fault.
