turn signals and speedometer
ok so over the weekend i was helpin my buddy change his transmission, we got everything put back on and took it for a test drive and everything was working fine, later on in the day he was going to take me home and on the way we notice that the speedometer and turn signals weren't working anymore, i have no idea what is wrong, we checkd all the fuses they all seem to be good and hazard lights still worked, maybe we forgot to connect somethin back on, im not sure... we did connect the speed sensor and there is also another wire that is hanging freely because the plugs wouldn't fit... the tranny we put on was from a y7 and we put it on a 92 civic which is probably why that one plug did not fit... im not sure what that plug is for but it is on the front side of the tranny... please help he's been driving around without turn signals and a speedometer but he has no choice because its his only dd
Do the backup lights work?
If not the plug that does not fit is probably the backup light switch, [if it's a manual transmission].
As for the signal lights, they have nothing to do with the transmission, recheck the signal light fuse. 94
